The LFC project pivots on a growing collection of intellectually challenging works by a diverse range of internationally recognized contemporary artists including Sophie Calle, Rineke Dijkstra, Nan Goldin, Andreas Gursky, Jenny Holzer, Seydou Keita, Barbara Kruger, Sigmar Polke, Richard Prince, Pipilotti Rist, Thomas Ruff, Cindy Sherman, Yinka Shonibare, Lorna Simpson, Thomas Struth, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Sam Taylor Wood, and Erwin Wurm, among others.
Led by CEO Martin Zimmerman’s active encouragement of inquiry, creativity and commitment to the arts, the employees at LINC are unusually sophisticated and engaged participants, and the arts program has continued to evolve to meet their critical perspective and enthusiasm.
Artist talks, open meetings to place controversial artworks, individual and group art selection for offices and public spaces, and an interactive multimedia program featuring artist’s interviews and employee feedback all insure that the collection actively stimulates new ways of thinking, creates dialogue, and contributes to company objectives.
Tours of the collection, arts related events, and an active lending program to museums internationally, assures that the art program reflects the organization’s commitment to the development of contemporary cultural practices.
